Mr. Arvind Kumar Pandey’s Inspirational Journey: Standing with Tiens, from Adversity to Success
This lamp lit in adversity, I want it to continue shining on more people — just as Tiens once shone on me.

I am Arvind Kumar Pandey. Now, standing in the position of a director at Tiens Group and looking back, those days of riding my bicycle through the streets are still as vivid as yesterday.
My story is one forged through sheer determination in the face of adversity.
From the brink of bankruptcy to starting out on a bicycle
The year 2007 was the darkest moment of my life. My previous entrepreneurial attempt had ended in complete failure, and I was mired in a debt crisis, often unable to scrape together enough money for the next day’s meal.
In order to survive, I became a life insurance agent, going door to door every day with little success, trying to piece together my shattered dreams amid constant hustle.
It was at that time that I encountered Tiens. I had nothing to my name, and my only means of transportation was an old bicycle, yet I held tightly to this opportunity that might change my fate.
I rode my bicycle through streets and alleys, visiting clients, sharing health concepts, and explaining entrepreneurial opportunities.
The scorching sun of midsummer darkened my skin, and the muddy puddles of rainy days splashed onto my trouser legs, but whenever I thought about the future, my feet would press harder on the pedals — I believed this was not ordinary sales, but a platform that could truly help people stand tall.
The early days were tough — some questioned me, others rejected me — but I never wavered in my faith in the Tiens system.
Gradually, my efforts began to resonate: the trust of my first client, the formation of my first small team, the first breakthrough in performance… each step was taken solidly.
Rewriting destiny through perseverance
On the Tiens platform, I steadily rose to the eight-star rank.
When I bought my first car, I deliberately parked it at the street corner I used to pass so often — the place where I once sheltered from the rain on my bicycle — as if to tell my past self: “You see, perseverance really works.”
Today, I own four luxury cars and have long since left behind the days of pedaling a bicycle to run my business.
More valuable still, over 50 international trips have taken me beyond the small world I once knew — from market surveys in Southeast Asia to leadership summits in Europe — and each border-crossing experience has broadened my horizons.
The changes in my financial situation have allowed my family to stand tall: I renovated my ancestral home in Kanpur so my parents could enjoy their later years in comfort; I purchased property near Delhi to provide my family with a stable life; and I built a modern office in Lucknow that has become a “recharging station” for my team members.
Today, my monthly income has reached seven figures, but behind these numbers are countless late nights of study, countless patient conversations, and countless times of getting back up after falling down.
People often ask me the secret to success. In fact, it’s very simple: choose the right platform, and then persevere to the end.
From a heavily indebted insurance agent to a leader at Tiens, I have proven through my own experience that destiny is never fixed. Even in the depths of adversity, as long as you do not give up seeking opportunities and are willing to give your utmost effort, you can surely grow upward.
